Catherine Green began her career in Silicon Valley working in tech marketing. After earning her BA from Stanford, she joined Madge Networks—a fast-growing startup that went public during her time there.
She later earned her MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where she also interned at Intel in their mobile marketing group.
After business school, Catherine joined Calista Inc., a startup in internet-based phone technology. She helped lead the company to a successful sale to Cisco Systems by developing the strategy and business plan for the acquisition.
At Cisco, she led major product launches, managed million-dollar marketing campaigns, and helped redesign the company’s website. She also started Cisco’s first web analytics program.
Next, she became Director of Social Media at Dotster in Portland, managing large e-commerce websites, and later worked as VP of Marketing at Mavenlink, a fast-growing software company in Irvine, California.
Catherine is also a trained executive coach, a public speaker, and a published writer. She has lived in Europe and Latin America, speaks French and Spanish, and is also a vocal coach and a singer.
In 2014, she founded Greenway Marketing to help small businesses grow through smart, affordable marketing. Catherine brings a mix of creativity, business strategy, and real-world experience to every project—and she truly cares about her clients’ success.
